My Games!
So much trash
I've been making games for like almost 10 years (which sounds impressive but I promise its not), in that time I've made quite a lot of games, so heres a quick timeline going backwards, I will shove as much info about these games as I can as time goes on.
Fastrak: Metro
Year: 2026?
Genre: Simcade
Description: Inspired by Japanese arcade classic Densha De Go!, and the lack of accessible Australian train games, I decided to make Fastrak Metro, which is expected to take 3 years of my life v-v, the game itself is not too complicated, but features a lot of content to make, and of course will be my first (properly) commercially released game
Megasprawl
Year: 2024
Genre: Arcade/ Citybuilder
Description: Made for a GMTK game jam, this one was pretty sick and I fully intend to return to the idea soon, it was inspired by real cities especially in south and southeast asia, where monumental growth is a constant and the city authorities are always playing catchup, the gameplay itself is fun at first but has a severe difficulty spike, which once cleared the game just becomes a drag. In the future I do really want to have another jab at a game with this concept, but perhaps less fast-paced, and more strategic, but still a very stripped down experience unlike other city builders, where overal management takes precedent over precise planning, but we'll see
Saving the Cybercat
Year: 2024
Genre: Arcade/ Beat 'em up
Description: Made for a game jam, but I missed the deadline, which somehow is far from the biggest issue with this game, which is, that it sucks, a lot, its buggy, was somehow too abitious? and just lacked a clear identity or plan, I think there was a big lesson from this game to not let content define a game, ironic considering Fastrak is a game where content is a defining feature, but perhaps its more suited for game jams, since that was the big difficulty, the gameplay itself is extremely simple, and I spent wayy too much time trying to make it look pretty, over actually making it.
